USITT stands for the United States Institute of Theatre Technology. Their mission is to connect "performing arts design and technology communities to ensure a vibrant dialog among practitioners, educators, and students."
How does the student chapter fall into that?
Our goal as a student chapter is to put on events, informational and fun, to promote learning and to create a large sense of community among those studying Theatre Technology and/or Design here at NMU.
The USITT Student Chapter will help plan and contribute to the attendance of student from NMU at the anual USITT Conference!
Host workshops that promote new knowledge and skills being learned or improved upon.
Host fun events that student can enjoy!
