Mission
GEPA is designed to fill the needs of graduate TAs and students on the English pedagogy MA track. We meet bi-monthly—or as the need arises—to discuss teaching materials and lesson planning, as well as provide support to one another as we develop as educators. We also frequently have discussions with veteran teachers and professors about relevant teaching topics, such as active learning, genre-based pedagogy, and classroom management.

SALUTE is the only national honor society in the nation recognizing and honoring the service and the scholastic achievements of this generation's greatest veterans. SALUTE is an acronym for: Service, Academics, Leadership, Unity, Tribute, and Excellence.

Chapter of the national Student Veterans of America organization. Group allows student-veterans to socialize, organize and conduct activities related to their interests and community service, and to be able to connect with other veterans in the area.
