Alpha Gamma Delta is an international women's fraternity. Our sisters strive for academic excellence and work together to achieve this. We have sisterhood events throughout the year that truly unite our members! Sisterhood extends past our college years; these women become an extended family. On campus we can be seen participating in events throughout the year in collaboration with other organizations on campus. Our members also actively participate in our community through volunteer work at events such as helping at a local food pantry, UP 200 and Make a Difference Day. Our chapter holds various philanthropy events to raise money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which supports fighting hunger. Our contributions get distributed to Meals on Wheels, Feeding America, food pantries across the U.S. and Canada, Alpha Gamma Delta members in need, scholarships and more!

Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, or the Alpha Sigs, is a group of select men who have chosen to gain not just educational knowledge but valuable life lessons out of their college career. It is highly encouraged to join Alpha Sigma Phi if a memorable college experience is what you are looking for. The Alpha Sigs are actively involved in campus events such as Homecoming, WinterFest, and intramural sports. Outside of campus the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi participate in the community with philanthropy and fundraising work. The Alpha Sigs have been on campus for almost 40 years and their primary goal is still to better young undergraduate men.

This Council is also a great way to grow your on campus network and make lifelong friendships with a wide range of students at NMU.

Phi Sigma Sigma is an international women's Fraternity. We were founded by a group of ten women in 1913 from Hunter College in New York City; today, the sorority has 100 chapters all over the U.S. and Canada. Phi Sigma Sigma is very active in supporting our philanthropy, School and College Readiness, and is currently partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation. We participate in events like Make a Difference Day, UP 200, and other local philanthropic activities. Phi Sigma Sigma is involved in many campus activities as well, including Homecoming, Winter Fest and Greek Week. Phi Sigma Sigma strives for excellence in scholarship and has an excellent program designed to help sisters with their studies. There is a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 for membership. Founded on February 18, 1961 the Tau Kappa Epsilon Theta-Iota chapter at Northern Michigan University mission is to aid men in their mental, moral and social development for life. Tau Kappa Epsilon creates lifelong relationships that enhance educational, interpersonal, community and professional success. TKE contributes to the advancement of society through personal growth of our members, and service to others.
