Experience Yoga Nidra, the yoga of deep rest. This guided practice leads you into a state between waking and sleeping that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and restores balance. Participants often report better sleep, greater calm, and renewed energy. Open to all levels—no prior yoga experience required. Bring a mat, blanket, and wear comfortable clothing. Bring yoga mat and blanket and wear loose, comfy clothing. Please arrive early. No more entry after the door is closed.

Dr. Yan Ciupak is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Northern Michigan University and co-founder of the Grief Support Specialist Certificate program. She is the founding faculty advisor of the NMU Yoga Club, a certified yoga instructor through Tattvaa Yoga Shala in Rishikesh, India, a board member of Meditate Marquette, and a second-degree Reiki practitioner.
