Taking care of your car is part of taking care of yourself. This workshop offers a beginner-friendly overview of essential vehicle maintenance to help you drive with confidence and peace of mind. Topics include the following:
- under hood fluids
- basic tire maintenance
- available resources
- inquiry about additional topics

Due to space constraints and the hands-on nature of this workshop, this session is by registration only and limited to 12 participants. If all slots are filled, a wait list will generate where you can add yourself. If you register and no longer can attend, please remove your registration so we can fill all the slots. We may offer a second session of this workshop, depending on interest!

Adulthood 101 is a workshop series focused on improving wellbeing through honing practical life skills. This series creates a supportive space to explore topic areas that some may feel hesitant to ask about, such as food safety, car care, grief and healing, and managing other responsibilities. By normalizing learning and growth as an adult, Adulthood 101 aims to reduce stress, build confidence, and empower participants to feel more capable and supported in their day to day lives.

Randy Klitzke

Randy Klitzke, formerly from Menominee, MI holds credentials as an ASE certified master automotive technician and also as a professional educator of Career and Technical Education specializing in Automotive Technology and Work-Based Learning. Highlighting Mr. Klitzke’s instructional career with Menominee Area Public Schools, Randy was named educator of the year by the Marinette / Menominee Chamber of Commerce, he was nominated to and served as an advisory committee member for Michigan State Superintendent of Education Mike Flanagan, and he attained certification for Menominee’s automotive technology program from the National Automotive Technician’s Education Foundation (NATEF).  



Prior to a career in education, Mr. Klitzke was employed in industry as a General Motors master service technician earning certifications by Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC Truck. Despite transitioning his career as a technician toward education, Mr. Klitzke has continued to learn new technologies developed within industry by attending regular training through highly recognized providers such as Autowares, Federal Mogul, and NAPA. Randy has also maintained regular hands-on practice through his employment in the performance racing industry where he is also an active race team member.  With feature wins to his credit as a crew chief, the exemplifying mark of Randy’s successes in racing include having earned recognition as a late-model division champion team member of` the American Speed Association’s (ASA) national member track series.
