In honor of World Mental Health Day, the second annual Mind over Miles 5K event will be held on campus to highlight the importance of prioritizing mental health and its connection to physical wellbeing. The course will take participants on a scenic loop through much of NMU’s campus, starting and finishing at the Wildcat statue by Jamrich. This event aims to promote a continued sense of community and encourage open dialogue about mental health, including our collective ability to reduce the stigma around focusing on mental health and asking for help. T-shirt sales end 11:59PM on Sunday, September 14th. Online registration ends at 11:59PM on October 5th, with no same-day registration available. Timing will be conducted by Superior Timing, and post-race refreshments are sponsored by Embers Credit Union. More information will be emailed to registrants closer to the race date.
