This is the information about the rescheduled event "Español Inclusivo 101 with Lau Romero, PhD". Profe Lau Romero, they are originally from Chile and they will be the one who guides us in the use of non-binary language in the Spanish language. Dr. Romero will comment on their experience as a non-binary bilingual scholar, explaining some of the basics of gender non conforming language in Spanish. This event will be delivered asynchronously (through zoom and at the main NMU campus), the event will have a reading and a space for questions and answers in which students can ask questions about the topic. This is why I extend the invitation to your students and other members of your faculty to attend this event, if you could share this information with them, we will highly appreciate it.
