LGBTQ+ Workshop Featuring Kedzie Stark

Workshop Description:
Survey research is one of the most important tools we have for studying LGBT issues. Information gleaned from this research informs theory and drives activism. However, survey research can be tricky to get right. How do we write questions that will give us useful data? What are the best ways to access niche communities? This workshop will cover the basics of surveys as a tool for social research, explore their history in gender/sexuality studies, and conclude with a discussion on best practices for conducting surveys.
