Apply Now! Student Leader Fellowship Program Application

The Student Leader Fellowship Program (SLFP) holds an annual application process in February, with accepted students beginning the program the following fall semester. This application is to be a part of the 32nd cohort, where you will be starting the program during the 2022 Fall Semester.

The SLFP is a two-year leadership program. Committed to developing competent, ethical, and community-centered leaders, the SLFP provides student fellows with a series of unique experiences such as a Fall Retreat at Bay Cliff Health Camp, a two-credit leadership course, a mentor from the community, a Community Service Internship and a thorough workshop series (Skill Builder! Workshops).

Eligibility Requirements:

• You are a NMU student who has completed at least two semesters at a college or university by the time you will start the program (Fall 2022)

• You have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.80

• You have at least four semesters left at NMU, starting next fall semester (Fall 2022)

Applications are due Friday, February 11, 2022 by 5 p.m.

How to Apply:

Register for this event and you will be redirected to complete the SLFP Application Form. If eligibility requirements are met, you will receive an email (mid-February 2022) from slfp@nmu.edu to schedule a 20-minute interview.
