Skill Builder! Workshop: Organize your Org.

Want the opportunity to see NMU yearbooks from back in the day? Delve into old student organizations' records, such as the Black Student Union? Do you want to contribute and donate records to the NMU archives to help future students?

Organization leaders are encouraged to attend this Skill Builder workshop. In this workshop, executive members of organizations are trained in the importance of keeping records, follow a donation schedule, and passing the information to the organization's next members. This workshop will also highlight important materials to keep and how to donate them to the archives.

Following the Organize your Org seminar, there will be an open house in which attendees have the opportunity to look at some of the university's oldest archival collections. See old yearbook pictures, and read about the contributions alumni have made to student organizations decades ago. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.

Skill Builder seminars for "Organize your Org" in the Archives will take place on October 7th and 13th at 6:30pm, and October 29th at 11am.
