This spring, Northern Arts & Entertainment is excited to host Hippo Campus featuring Lisa Heller and one of our own NMU students, LPM! Join us on Friday, March 17th (Wildcat Weekend) in the Vandament Arena.

Hippo Campus is a five-person band featuring vocalists Jake Luppen and Nathan Stocker, drummer Whistler Allen, bassist Zach Sutton, and trumpeter DeCarlo Jackson. This concert will include songs from their new release, LP3, an album that explores the nuance of growing up and finding one's identity in today's world -- both on a personal level and in the public eye.

Lisa Heller - 2023 will be the year of Heller. Fresh off a nearly sold-out tour with Harbour and Wingtip, Lisa Heller starts 2023 with the release of brown paper bag, the first of twelve new songs that are part of a year-long three EP journey through Lisa's life and her struggles with relationships and mental health. Brown paper bag has been added to multiple official Spotify and Apple playlists, and her next single "You were the worst part of my life" already has significant pre-release buzz. Lisa will be touring with Andi and Rachel Grae in March and April, as well as performing this spring with Yung Gravy, Hippo Campus, Bryce Vine, Peach Tree Rascals, and Doublecamp just to name a few. Lisa's message is one of confronting and overcoming adversity, and that everyone faces struggles.
Lisa is just like you, and she's just getting started.

LPM is a unique independent artist with folk, Americana, rock flair. She tries to focus on engaging and genuine lyrics that flow with distinctive and memorable melodies. While her debut album will feature the force of a full band, she currently performs and records solo and acoustically.
