Mission
The Medical Equity Response Group (MERG) is committed to enhancing students' experiences at all stages of their education, including pre-med, nursing, social work, psychology, radiology, physical therapy, surgical tech, and more. Through providing educational opportunities to students interested in diversity, our fundamental aim is to promote health care students' experiences and skills in dealing with a varied set of students as well as patients. Our aim is to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations through the development of health policies and bring awareness and education that will help eliminate health disparities.
