After great consideration, I have decided to suspend the Club Basketball Program effective at the end of the fall 2025 semester.
I will be graduating in December, and with low tryout turnout, unable to tap into the potential interest with club basketball from the student body, as well as being Vice-President of the Esports program, I have decided that it is best to formally suspend the program while there is still someone at the helm.
I want to thank all the people who have helped me in this endeavor, from the Varsity coaching staff, such as Coach Matt Majkrzak, Kiel Ganz, and John-Michael Hughes, for building up the program to what it is today and helping me, encouraging me and telling me that challenging the varsity program is a bad idea.
To the Recreational Sports department, particularly Trisha Bush, who helped me set up the program and work out the logistical details.
Mark Dellangelo for being the faculty advisor and giving me insight on player safety on and off the court.
