For this break we have chosen: Looking for Alaska (2005) by John Green. Looking For Alaska follows the main character and narrator Miles Halter, or "Pudge," to boarding school. He seeks a "Great Perhaps," as in the famous last words of French writer François Rabelais. The novel has two distinct parts. The novel won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award from the American Library Association (ALA).
You can read all of the book or none at all, to attend the book club; all are welcome! If you want a copy, please attend the meeting and we will buy one for you, or check the library.
