Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

3MT is an international competition where graduate students present their thesis/research/scholarly activity in three minutes, using one slide. Students are judged by a community judging panel. Monetary prizes are awarded to the winner, runner-up, and people's choice contestants. Prizes this year are $500, $300, and $100 respectively. That's not a bad return on 3 minutes of talking!

The winning presenter will represent NMU at the Midwest Conference of Graduate Schools, where they will compete with students from universities across the Midwest and have a chance to move to the national competition.
