Mission
The goal of the Culture-Shock Film Society is to promote the opportunity for NMU students and Marquette community members to see classic, cult, art-house, international, and independent cinema. We facilitate weekly screenings free of charge in an effort to share a passion for historically, culturally, and artistically significant films, as well as obscure underground hits and films previously unavailable to Marquette audiences. This organization aims to present such films in order to promote a diverse range of filmmaking outside of the contemporary Hollywood mainstream. For more information, please contact bphalen@nmu.edu!
