Picturing the World with Mel D. Cole

Black Student Union welcomes Photojournalist Mel D. Cole. Here to speak about his works and experience capturing some of the most pivotal moments in modern society. You can find his book American Protest 2020-2021 on his website meldcole.com; in which, moments of recent BLM protests are captured for timeless remembrance. In the previous 20 years, Mel has photographed music stars and hip hop icons, as well as Black athletes. Join us to experience a taste of some of the defining moments in our culture.
