About Us

Alpha Psi Omega is a national honors society dedicated to encouraging dramatic production at every step in a person's academic career. Alpha Eta Xi is the chapter of the fraternity operating at Northern Michigan University. In addition to participating in the various productions and activities offered by the Theatre and Dance Department, NMU, and beyond, members have the opportunity to be part of a family unlike any other - students involved in Alpha Psi Omega support one another, whether it be as audience members cheering on a successful member performing onstage or applauding an award won by a member for backstage work. Relationships fostered in Alpha Psi Omega become strong bonds, and are friendships that can last a lifetime.
